Podcasts - love them. I see a great use for these in Local Information - having oral histories on our website that patrons can listen to as podcasts would be fantastic.

Week 7 - Tagging

Had a look at Del.icio.us and LibraryThing. My fav is LibraryThing, think this will be very useful to our patrons and to the staff as well.

Video Embedding - Week 6

Happy to know how to use this and find out how easy it is - just cut and paste.
Cute dog reminds me of my own crazy puppy. Check out other good videos on our library website.

Wiki - Week 5

Wikis seem to be very easy to contribute to. It was interesting reading other technicians views and opinions on what they do everyday.

Photo sharing

I found this lovely photo of parrot tulips on Flickr. Can't believe how easy it is to use online photo sharing, i can see this coming in very handy in Local Information.
